President Wins Award
FOC, the First Class CW Operators Club, has announced that it has awarded its prestigious Al Slater, G3FXB, Memorial Award to Bob Whelan, G3PJT, the President of the RSGB. The award is presented annually to an individual, group or society that has made an outstanding contribution to amateur radio. In particular the recipient will have shown exemplary and considerate operating standards together with a high level of encouragement, friendship and support to other radio amateurs.
