Renewal of Beacon and Repeater NoVs
Ofcom has issued a web notice and written to the keepers of Beacons and Repeaters inviting them to renew their current NoVs, which are due to expire at the end of March. The exercise involves approximately 400 repeaters and 100 beacons. Applications for renewals can be made using the RSGB-ETCC online facilities. The system is currently open for repeater keepers and will be live for beacon keepers by the end of the weekend.
If you are a Keeper, your attention is drawn to Ofcom’s request that you must ensure that your personal licence is also valid and that your list of closedown operators must be updated. Please note that ALL Repeater and Beacon NoVs are in scope for renewal, including those recently issued.
