{"id":47728,"date":"2026-05-08T17:30:44","date_gmt":"2026-05-08T16:30:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/?p=47728"},"modified":"2026-05-08T17:59:13","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T16:59:13","slug":"rsgb-board-liaison-roles-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/blog\/news\/gb2rs\/headlines\/2026\/05\/08\/rsgb-board-liaison-roles-announced\/","title":{"rendered":"RSGB Board liaison roles announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Each RSGB Board Director has a liaison role between the Board and specific aspects of the Society\u2019s work.<\/p>\n<p>This focuses very much on the work done by RSGB volunteers in <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/about-us\/committees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>committees<\/strong><\/a>, groups and teams as well as by the <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/about-us\/honorary-officers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Honorary Officers<\/strong><\/a> and Champions.<\/p>\n<p>In a role swap that has been planned for some time, Ben Lloyd, GW4BML will become Board Liaison for the<a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/about-us\/regional-managers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong> RSGB Regional Team<\/strong> <\/a>and Nathan Nuttall, MM9OCC will become Board Liaison for the<a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/about-us\/youth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong> RSGB Youth<\/strong><\/a> Committee.<\/p>\n<p>New Board Director Graham Smith, G4NMD has taken on responsibility for the exam portfolio previously held by retired Director Len Paget, GM0ONX.<\/p>\n<p>Other roles and responsibilities will be announced shortly.<\/p>\n<p>In the interim, if you have any doubts as to where to direct an inquiry regarding a Board Liaison matter, please contact Board Chair Stewart Bryant, G3YSX.<\/p>\n<p>To find out more and to see contact details for each Board Director, go to <a href=\"http:\/\/rsgb.org\/board\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>rsgb.org\/board<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Each RSGB Board Director has a liaison role between the Board and specific aspects of the Society\u2019s work.
