Aberkenfig and District Amateur Radio Club<\/strong> meets on Wednesdays from 7pm at Tondu Railway Club, Station Approach, Bridgend, CF32 9DY.<\/p>\n

The Club is an approved RSGB Examination Centre for those wishing to study and take their amateur radio exams. The Club is holding free workshops for all local radio amateurs over the winter months.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Barry Amateur Radio Society<\/strong> has a club night from 7.30pm at Sully Sports and Social Club, CF64 5SP from 7.30pm. On Wednesday, there is a net on 144.550MHz from 8pm.<\/p>\n

On Sundays, Blackwood and District Amateur Radio Society<\/strong> has a net on 3706MHz from 12 noon. On Tuesdays, the net is on 144.575MHz from 7.30pm. Mark, 2W1MRK, 07972 336 885<\/p>\n

Carmarthen Amateur Radio Society<\/strong> is holding five regular nets this week. A multi-mode digital net on XLX490 D on Tuesday starts at 8pm. On Wednesday a 70cm FM net on GB3CM runs from 7.30pm. A new CW practice net on XLX490D on Wednesday begins at 8pm.<\/p>\n

As GB3FG is still out of service for repairs, a multi-mode digital net on XLX490 D will take place on Thursday starting at 8pm; and an 80m SSB net, conditions permitting, on Sunday starting at 2.30pm, with an experimental 40m net following on immediately afterwards.<\/p>\n

Chepstow and District Amateur Radio Society\u00a0<\/strong>meets on the first and third Tuesday of every month from 7pm in the Scout Hut next to the British Legion\u00a0on Grahamstown Road, Sedbury, Chepstow, NP16 7AD.<\/p>\n

Cwmbran and District Amateur Radio Society<\/strong> has a club night on Wednesdays from 7pm at Henllys Village Hall, NP44 6JZ. New and old members are always welcome.<\/p>\n

The Society has a fully equipped shack for member use which also houses the GB3YA repeater, with an Echolink connection, via GB3YA-R. Both are owned and maintained by the club.<\/p>\n
