This webinar will look at what recycling is, and its purpose. In the talk, Mark will discuss the basics of recycling waste electronic and electrical equipment. He will concentrate on aluminium, steel and batteries.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>About the presenter<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Mark Foreman, G7LSZ\/SA6BID is an associate professor of industrial materials recycling at Chalmers University of Technology in G\u00f6teborg, Sweden. He has been working on the science of recycling since 2007. Before then he spent around six years developing molecules for the separation of americium. He has had an interest in electronics from a young age and at the age of 16 this metamorphosed into an interest in radio electronics.
