To Whom it May Concern letter<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you encounter any issues using the Membership Services portal, the web or mobile app, or any of the above services please post a ticket with the RSGB IT Helpdesk at <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/helpdesk\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>rsgb.org\/helpdesk<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-style: none;\" src=\"http:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/files\/2018\/10\/300px_fine_dotted_line-300x3.png\" alt=\"300px_fine_dotted_line\" width=\"300\" height=\"3\" \/><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>UPDATE 16:08 06\/02\/2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h4><strong>There will be further short periods of downtime affecting the Membership Services portal and logins to the web and mobile app between 09.00 and 09.30 on 9 February 2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This is to apply a final set of updates to resolve remaining issues with Membership Services authentication on non-portal resources (see updates below at 15.10 on 6 February 2026, and at 16.20 on 4 February 2026).<\/p>\n<p>We will continue to update this post with news on the progress of these works.<\/p>\n<h4><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-style: none;\" src=\"http:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/files\/2018\/10\/300px_fine_dotted_line-300x3.png\" alt=\"300px_fine_dotted_line\" width=\"300\" height=\"3\" \/><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>UPDATE 15:10 06\/02\/2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are pleased to report a fix has been developed for the issue affecting non-portal resource logins for members.<\/p>\n<p>For a list of affected services, see the update below at 16.20 on 4 February 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The fix is now in the testing and evaluation stage and we plan to push it out to the live site as early as possible next week.<\/p>\n<p>Again, our apologies for any continuing inconvenience.<\/p>\n<p>Your patience in this matter is much appreciated.<\/p>\n<h4><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-style: none;\" src=\"http:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/files\/2018\/10\/300px_fine_dotted_line-300x3.png\" alt=\"300px_fine_dotted_line\" width=\"300\" height=\"3\" \/><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>UPDATE 16:20 04\/02\/2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are pleased to report that the Membership Services portal and the mobile and web apps are now fully operational again.<\/p>\n<p>Owing to a number of unforeseen issues, maintenance work on the system over-ran into this afternoon, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.<\/p>\n<p>We are now clearing up a few remaining issues on the system affecting non-portal resource logins for members.<\/p>\n<p><em>You may still encounter issues accessing &#8211;<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>RSGB Board proceedings<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Members discounted museum entry vouchers<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Planning advice leaflets<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Club insurance &#8211;
