The net is technical and experimental in nature, focusing on antenna testing, real-world simplex coverage, local propagation analysis, and mapping who hears who on the 2m band.<\/p>\n<p>The net takes place fortnightly on 145.500MHz at 7.30pm. The next net is tomorrow, 26 January. Operators are asked to QSY as directed by the net controller. All licence levels are welcome to join in.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Auckland Amateur Radio Club meets on Thursdays from 7.30pm at Stanley Crook Village Hall.
