Further service in the Middle East resulted Dave gaining MP4TBK and VS9ADQ callsigns.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-44930\" src=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/files\/2026\/01\/David-Quigley-G3PRI-195x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"195\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/files\/2026\/01\/David-Quigley-G3PRI-195x300.jpg 195w, https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/files\/2026\/01\/David-Quigley-G3PRI-97x150.jpg 97w, https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/files\/2026\/01\/David-Quigley-G3PRI.jpg 386w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 195px) 100vw, 195px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On his return to the UK, Dave settled in the Isle of Wight and later moved to Bishop\u2019s Stortford in Hertfordshire on the death of his first wife.<\/p>\n<p>Dave was active on the 80-10m and 2m bands and was a member of the RSGB, RSARS and RNARS. He became a voluntary conservator of radar and radio equipment at The Imperial War Museum, Duxford in 2015 and until November last year was Chairman of the <strong>Bishop\u2019s Stortford Amateur Radio Society<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Dave is survived by his wife, Faith and their family.<\/p>\n<p>Tony Graver G8SEY<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is with sadness that we report the passing of David Quigley, G3PRI.
