Both build on worksheets it shared in previous years, however you don\u2019t have to have done those first.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Python Pocket Morse activity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/coding-and-amateur-radio\/python-pocket-morse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Python Pocket Morse activity<\/strong><\/a> has been developed by the RSGB Maker Champion Tom Wardill, 2E0JJI and is a low-cost opportunity to learn some <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/operating\/morse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Morse<\/strong> <\/a>and programming together. The exercise will cover using a BBC Micro:bit V2 and the \u2018more advanced\u2019 Python programming instead of the previous block programming mode. It is intended as a gentle introduction to both Python and small computer programming and can be done without any previous knowledge of the micro:bit. You can download the full instructions via the <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/coding-and-amateur-radio\/python-pocket-morse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>activity web page<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LoRa balloon challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The other new activity is the <a href=\"http:\/\/rsgb.org\/lora-balloon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>LoRa balloon challenge<\/strong><\/a>. As well as the manual which guides you through the process of building your own LoRa tracker and seeing how far your signal can reach, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?si=-JhWlSJ4aROuCRWp&amp;v=lt1Pk3NfiMw&amp;feature=youtu.be\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>the Society has released a video<\/strong><\/a> in which Fraser, MM0EFI demonstrates the process.
