Discover new skills at this year’s RSGB Convention<\/strong><\/a> in October by securing your place in one, or all three, of the workshops that will be taking place.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Friday 10 <\/span><\/span>October<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The RSGB is giving you the opportunity to build on the basics of Arduino programming with a six-hour workshop that will cover programming Direct Digital Synthesis<\/strong><\/a><\/span> for RF generation. This session will also include how to use generative AI tools such as ChatGPT to write software. You are welcome to book this workshop even if <\/span>you<\/span>\u2019re<\/span> not able to attend the whole Convention this year.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Saturday 11 October<\/strong><\/p>\n

If programming is new to you, then Saturday\u2019s two-hour workshop is <\/span>a great place<\/span> to get started. This session<\/span><\/span> will introduce you to <\/span><\/span>microcontroller unit programming<\/strong><\/a> through a short presentation followed by practical exercises.<\/p>\n

Sunday 12 October<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alternatively, on Sunday, you can book a two-hour antenna building workshop<\/strong><\/a> that will guide you through the process of constructing a 49:1 balun for use in a QRP end-fed long-wire antenna. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Spaces for the workshops are limited, and pre-booking is essential.<\/em> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The workshops are subsidised by the RSGB Legacy Funds<\/strong><\/a>, and every attendee will also receive a \u00a35 RSGB book voucher. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
