On Wednesday there will be a net on 145.375MHz FM from 9pm. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.\u00a0Visitors are always welcome. The Society\u2019s 2m and 4m FM nets are held on 145.350MHz on Sundays\u00a0at 10am, and on 70.425MHz on Fridays\u00a0at 8pm. A Top Band net is held on the first Monday of the month,\u00a0around 1.905MHz. This\u00a0net begins using SSB and then moves to AM. All amateurs, especially Foundation licence holders, are always\u00a0welcome to join in with these nets. Separate contacts with members\u00a0via\u00a0these nets,\u00a0can\u00a0also\u00a0qualify for the Cray Valley Award Certificate. Cray Valley Radio Society is offering Intermediate licence training in September. On Wednesdays, usually at 1pm, members meet up at various locations in the area for an afternoon of portable radio on the air on both HF and VHF bands using SSB, CW and FM voice.
