For more information contact Stewart, G3YSX on 07720 068 493.<\/p>\n<p>Cray Valley Radio Society meets\u00a0at the 1<sup>st<\/sup> Royal Eltham Scout HQ at the rear of\u00a061 to\u00a071 Southend<u>\u00a0<\/u>Crescent, Eltham\u00a0London, SE9 2SD\u00a0on the first and third Thursdays of the month. The doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm start. Visitors are always welcome. Please note that, with\u00a0immediate effect,\u00a0the Society\u2019s\u00a0official website has been\u00a0changed to cvrs.uk\u00a0 Cray Valley offers face-to-face training at all three licence levels. In September there will be a three-day face-to-face Intermediate licence training course with an online exam. This will be held on the 13, 20 and 27 September between 8.30am and 6pm. Any Foundation licence holders within reach of the Club are welcome to apply. The cost is \u00a370 and includes the exam fee. To apply online go to\u00a0 cvrs.uk and follow the training tab for the online application form. Places will be allocated on a first-applied-first-paid basis. Cray Valley&#8217;s 2m and 4m FM nets are held on 145.350MHz on Sundays at 10am, and on 70.425MHz on Fridays at 8pm. A Top Band net is held on the first Monday of the month, around 1.905MHz. This net begins using SSB and then moves to AM. All amateurs, especially Foundation licence holders, are always welcome to join in with these nets. Separate contacts with members via these nets, can also qualify for the Cray Valley Award Certificate.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesdays, Crystal Palace Radio and Electronics Club has a net on 145.525MHz from 8pm.
