{"id":34910,"date":"2024-07-05T15:29:03","date_gmt":"2024-07-05T14:29:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/?p=34910"},"modified":"2024-07-08T10:46:01","modified_gmt":"2024-07-08T09:46:01","slug":"rsgb-representative-announced-for-yota-in-czechia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/blog\/news\/gb2rs\/headlines\/2024\/07\/05\/rsgb-representative-announced-for-yota-in-czechia\/","title":{"rendered":"RSGB YOTA Czechia rep announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The RSGB is pleased to announce that it will be represented at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ham-yota.com\/category\/regional-activities\/yota-czechia-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>this summer&#8217;s Youngsters on the Air (YOTA) camp<\/strong><\/a> by Rhys Williams, M0WGY \/ AJ6XD.<\/p>\n<p>The event, which is organised by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iaru-r1.org\/about-us\/committees-and-working-groups\/youth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>IARU Region 1 Youth Working Group<\/strong><\/a> together with the <a href=\"https:\/\/ceskyradioklub.cz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Czech Radio Club<\/strong><\/a>, will be held between 16-23 August 2024 in Prague, Czechia.<\/p>\n<p>Rhys is currently studying aerospace engineering at Cambridge University and is going on to do a PhD in engineering at Oxford University from September.
