The location is very close to M20 Junction 10 and entrance is free. Towards the end of the event, at around 2.30pm, the group will invite potentially interested folk to meet with members of the Kent Repeater Group to gauge support for the use of repeaters in Kent, and to see if there is appetite for improvement and development. Perhaps digital facilities could be added, or new sites found. The address of the event is Willesborough Windmill, Mill Lane, Willesborough, Ashford, Kent, TN24 0QG. The Packing Shed used during\u00a0the heyday of oyster fishing on the Essex\u00a0coast is now a museum to the industry. The event will be held on the 4 and 5 August and the callsigns GX3CO and MX1COL will be in use covering digital and voice modes across the bands. The event is being held to celebrate the 60<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the formation of the club. A CW net is held on Monday nights at 8pm\u00a0on 144.575MHz. The net is aimed at anyone new to CW or wishing to brush up their CW skills. Non-members are welcome to join in. The net is followed by general conversation. On Wednesdays, usually at 1pm, members meet up at various locations in the area for an afternoon of portable radio on the air using both HF and VHF on SSB, CW and FM voice.
