The event will be hosted via the G8ROC Zoom room and details can be found on G8ROC.org.uk Callum is based in Cornwall and it is hoped that attendees from all of Cornwall&#8217;s clubs and groups will attend. It is open to all with an interest in the future of the hobby.<\/p>\n<p>On the first and third Saturdays of the month, the Online Amateur Radio Community holds a virtual social night called \u2018The Rubber Duck\u2019 on Zoom. For more information, see <a href=\"https:\/\/oarc.uk\/\">oarc.uk<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Online Radio Club has a virtual radio club night at 7.30pm every Thursday via Zoom. It is suitable for all radio enthusiasts regardless of individual skill level. The club has weekday nets taking place from 4pm on 145.450MHz, except Wednesday when the net moves to 144.260MHz between 8 and 9pm. On Monday, there is a net via GB3DN at 11am. There is another net on Friday from 11am via GB3DN and on 145.450MHz at 8pm. All are welcome to join in and shortwave listener reports are always appreciated. Covering all of Cornwall and into South Devon, the net has a focus on portable operations, but mobile and fixed stations are equally welcome. On the 16 July, the group is hosting a portable HF day at the summit of Kitt Hill near Saltash from midday until around 6pm. All are welcome to join in. The event will include bring-and-buy sales and will be held at Truro College\u2019s Tregye campus sports field. The event is open to all and will be free to attend. Free parking and on-site toilets will be available. Bring and buy is limited and at a cost of \u00a35 per pitch, so please book in advance. On Wednesday, the Society has nets on 14.270MHz from 9.30am and 3.663MHz from 10.30am. The Society will be meeting on Friday from 7.30pm.
