The outcome of this was that:<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li>We are retaining the timing of the Backpackers Contests as they were last year since the majority of respondents appreciate the quiet final hour after the big guns have closed down<\/li>\n<li>We are also retaining the timing of the 2m FT8 Activity contests as they were last year, and we are introducing a 70cm FT8 Activity contest on the second Wednesday evening of every month<\/li>\n<li>We are shortening the length of the 2m Low Power event to 4 hours<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rsgbcc.org\/vhf\/rules\/22rules\/frameindex.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>For further information see the website<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last year, we shared a survey with questions around the timing of some RSGB VHF Contests and we are grateful to the people who responded.
