{"id":25472,"date":"2020-07-31T17:02:18","date_gmt":"2020-07-31T16:02:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/?p=25472"},"modified":"2020-07-31T17:02:12","modified_gmt":"2020-07-31T16:02:12","slug":"intermediate-exam-practical-assessment-abolished","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/blog\/news\/gb2rs\/headlines\/2020\/07\/31\/intermediate-exam-practical-assessment-abolished\/","title":{"rendered":"Intermediate Exam practical assessment abolished"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/about-us\/committees\/examination-standards-committee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Examination Standards Committee<\/strong><\/a> is pleased to announce the latest syllabus revision for the amateur radio licence examinations.<\/p>\n<p>Following the valuable feedback from the tutor community, certain points have been clarified.<\/p>\n<p>There are no new learning points with this revision\u2014version 1.4\u2014but one very significant change is that the Intermediate practical assessment is to be discontinued with immediate effect.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the feedback has indicated a further syllabus revision that will involve new learning points.<\/p>\n<p>Further consultations will commence regarding this in the autumn with an expected publication date of January 2021, and the content examinable from July 2021.<\/p>\n<p>All the documents are on the Society\u2019s website at <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/syllabus2019\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>rsgb.org\/syllabus2019<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Examination Standards Committee is pleased to announce the latest syllabus revision for the amateur radio licence examinations.
