{"id":24960,"date":"2020-05-07T16:51:50","date_gmt":"2020-05-07T15:51:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/?p=24960"},"modified":"2020-05-07T16:51:50","modified_gmt":"2020-05-07T15:51:50","slug":"vdsl-call-to-action-in-new-online-radcom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/blog\/news\/gb2rs\/headlines\/2020\/05\/07\/vdsl-call-to-action-in-new-online-radcom\/","title":{"rendered":"VDSL call to action in new online RadCom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The May RadCom carried a <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.services\/public\/radcom\/sample-edition\/18\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>call to action<\/strong><\/a> from the RSGB President, asking everyone who is suffering from HF interference due to broadband VDSL to submit a complaint to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ofcom.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Ofcom<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This edition of <em>RadCom<\/em> is now on the RSGB website as a sample issue for all radio amateurs\u2014find it at <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/sampleradcom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>rsgb.org\/sampleradcom<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We urge all who are suffering from VDSL interference to submit complaints to Ofcom.<\/p>\n<p>Details of how to report interference can be found in the May edition of <em>RadCom<\/em> and on the RSGB website at <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/vdsl-reporting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>rsgb.org\/vdsl-reporting<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Many amateurs have already submitted complaints to Ofcom and we would like to thank those for doing so.<\/p>\n<p>But we would like yet more people to submit complaints.<\/p>\n<p>We have to persuade Ofcom to take action against this threat to our hobby.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The May RadCom carried a call to action from the RSGB President, asking everyone who is suffering from HF interference due to broadband VDSL to submit a complaint to Ofcom.
