{"id":24942,"date":"2020-05-06T20:30:18","date_gmt":"2020-05-06T19:30:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/?p=24942"},"modified":"2020-05-06T20:30:25","modified_gmt":"2020-05-06T19:30:25","slug":"south-bristol-amateur-radio-club-support-gota2c","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/blog\/club-groups-societies\/2020\/05\/06\/south-bristol-amateur-radio-club-support-gota2c\/","title":{"rendered":"South Bristol Amateur Radio Club supports GOTA2C"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thank you to members of South Bristol ARC who are supporting GOTA2C through all their current activities.<\/p>\n<p>As well as posting details about the campaign on the <strong><a href=\"\/\/www.sbarc.co.uk\/news\/get-on-the-air-to-care\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">club website<\/a><\/strong> they have also sent details to their club members via email and shared it on the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/G4WAW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Twitter<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SouthBristolARC\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Facebook<\/a><\/strong> and LinkedIn channels.<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;ve created a temporary <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sbarc.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>homepage banner<\/strong><\/a> following the &#8220;Thank you NHS&#8221; rainbow theme including the hashtag #gota2c and linking to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/gota2c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&#8216;Get on the air to care&#8217; RSGB webpage<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To keep in touch they&#8217;ve started a Thursday evening net to replace their usual face-to-face meeting and are running a number of JITSI-MEET training sessions for the four current students on the Foundation Course.<\/p>\n<p>On the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sbarc.co.uk\/about\/nets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>club&#8217;s web page<\/strong><\/a> they&#8217;re sharing details of all the nets in Regional 11 that they know about.
