{"id":23772,"date":"2019-11-29T15:39:27","date_gmt":"2019-11-29T15:39:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/?p=23772"},"modified":"2019-11-29T15:39:27","modified_gmt":"2019-11-29T15:39:27","slug":"volunteer-wanted-for-ard-chair-position","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/blog\/news\/rsgb-notices\/2019\/11\/29\/volunteer-wanted-for-ard-chair-position\/","title":{"rendered":"Volunteer wanted for ARD Chair position"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Are you enthusiastic about promoting and developing the growth of amateur radio?<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/about-us\/board-of-directors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>RSGB Board<\/strong><\/a> has split its Training and Education Committee into two parts, one of which is Amateur Radio Development.<\/p>\n<p>The ARD activities cover <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/clubs-training\/schools-link-project\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Schools Link<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/clubs-training\/for-trainers\/train-trainers-events\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Train the Trainers<\/strong><\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/operating\/morse\/certificate-of-competency\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Morse Competency Scheme<\/strong><\/a> and Beyond Exams.<\/p>\n<p>The RSGB is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to lead these activities and to play a key role in contributing towards meeting the RSGB\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/about-us\/rsgb-strategy\/rsgb-strategy-priorities\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Strategy 2022 priorities<\/strong><\/a>, especially Growth, Participation and Diversity.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/files\/2019\/11\/191129-ARD-Chair-advert-final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Further information and full role description<\/strong><\/a> (1-page\/78KB PDF)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you enthusiastic about promoting and developing the growth of amateur radio?
