Later, we practised and learnt knots for use with antennas. The day then continued with an excursion to Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. We visited churches, government buildings and a local mall for souvenirs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What was your favourite bit?\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nMy favourite bit was knot making, despite all the tangles! It is a skill I will make good use of back home. I also enjoyed seeing beautiful Sofia, the historical architecture was amazing. One of the first buildings we visited was an old cathedral, the sounds inside it created a great atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What did you learn that you didn\u2019t know originally?\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nThe TTT presentation gave organisational and funding tips. They also gave advice on keeping the cost of the camps to a minimum.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are you looking forward to next?<\/strong><br \/>\nTomorrow we get to learn about and practise ARDF (Amateur Radio Direction Finding) in a local park.
