{"id":20958,"date":"2018-11-05T10:26:01","date_gmt":"2018-11-05T10:26:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/?p=20958"},"modified":"2019-01-17T14:43:53","modified_gmt":"2019-01-17T14:43:53","slug":"legacy-committee-member","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/blog\/news\/rsgb-notices\/2018\/11\/05\/legacy-committee-member\/","title":{"rendered":"Legacy Committee Member"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/about-us\/committees\/legacy-committee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RSGB Legacy Committee<\/a>\u00a0considers applications for project funding to be made from the Legacy Fund and makes recommendations to the Board.<\/p>\n<p>One of the current members is coming towards the end of his term of office and we are therefore looking for a new member to take his place.<\/p>\n<p><b>Role Title:<br \/>\n<\/b>Legacy Committee Member<\/p>\n<p><b>Reporting to:<br \/>\n<\/b>Legacy Committee Chairman<\/p>\n<p><b>Responsible for:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Considering applications for legacy funding<\/li>\n<li>Discussing applications with other Legacy Committee members<\/li>\n<li>Helping to prepare recommendations to the Board<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding applications for funding and the Legacy Committee\u2019s work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Most applications are discussed via e-mail exchanges. Three meetings are arranged each year; these are generally carried out via Skype.<\/p>\n<p>The post holder must accept and follow the RSGB\u2019s core Ethos values and Nolan\u2019s 7 principles of governance.
