{"id":18856,"date":"2017-12-08T15:26:45","date_gmt":"2017-12-08T15:26:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/?p=18856"},"modified":"2017-12-08T15:26:45","modified_gmt":"2017-12-08T15:26:45","slug":"iaru-region-1-and-eurao-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/blog\/front-page-news\/2017\/12\/08\/iaru-region-1-and-eurao-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"IARU Region 1 and EURAO meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A meeting was held on 2 December 2017 between the President of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iaru-r1.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IARU Region 1<\/a> and the President of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eurao.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">European Radio Amateurs\u2019 Organisation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Also present were the Chair of IARU Region 1\u2019s Spectrum and Regulatory Liaison Committee and the Secretary-General of EURAO.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was held against a background of both IARU Region 1 and EURAO having Letters of Understanding with <a href=\"https:\/\/cept.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CEPT<\/a>, enabling participation in the work of CEPT.<\/p>\n<p>Both organisations accepted that they had shared objectives, identified some specific areas for inter-working and will continue a constructive dialogue into the future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A meeting was held on 2 December 2017 between the President of IARU Region 1 and the President of the European Radio Amateurs\u2019 Organisation.
