{"id":15600,"date":"2016-07-29T14:30:29","date_gmt":"2016-07-29T14:30:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/?p=15600"},"modified":"2016-07-29T14:30:29","modified_gmt":"2016-07-29T14:30:29","slug":"john-fogden-g4wsx-sk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/blog\/front-page-news\/2016\/07\/29\/john-fogden-g4wsx-sk\/","title":{"rendered":"John Fogden, G4WSX, SK"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It is with sadness that we advise Members that two QSL sub-groups have been temporarily suspended, due to the sudden death of John Fogden, G4WSX.<\/p>\n<p>He was a stalwart of the RSGB, a long time volunteer who will be missed by many, especially his friends in the G3I-L and G4W-X sub-groups that he handled with diligence for many years.<\/p>\n<p>A replacement volunteer is sought for the very busy G3I-L group.<\/p>\n<p>At this time it is intended that John\u2019s G4W-X group will be absorbed into a larger group as part of an on-going G4 series review.<\/p>\n<p>Please do not send collection envelopes until further notice.<\/p>\n<p>Outgoing cards, destined for both call groups, may continue to be sent to the central bureau in the usual way.<\/p>\n<p>Our thoughts are with John\u2019s family and friends at this difficult time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is with sadness that we advise Members that two QSL sub-groups have been temporarily suspended, due to the sudden death of John Fogden, G4WSX.
