There will be demonstrations, presentations, equipment and component sales, all microwave-related, and the day includes a construction contest. Please do bring along your constructed equipment and enter.\u00a0Refreshments are available and visitors are most welcome.<\/p>\n<p>The Chippenham and District ARC Mini Indoor Radio Rally also takes place today, at Neston Village Hall, Pool Green, Neston, Corsham, Wiltshire SN13 9SN. Doors open at 10am and admission is \u00a32, with under 16s free. Sellers have access from 9am. Parking on-site is limited but disabled spaces will be made available. The organisers have requested that you don\u2019t park in Pool Green Road, but instead park in Leafield Way, which is a trading estate, just a five minute walk away.<\/p>\n<p>The week\u2019s big rally news is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalhamfest.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">National Hamfest<\/a>, hosted by Lincoln Short Wave Club, which takes place this Friday and Saturday at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newarkshowground.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Newark and Notts Showground<\/a>. The postcode for satnav is NG24 2NY. There are around 60 trade and special interest group stands plus a major RSGB presence including committee representatives and a huge RSGB book stall. Gates open at 9.30am for early access to the celebrated car boot sale area, then at 10am for the main hall. Admission is \u00a35 and there are full facilities including catering and disabled provisions. Full details at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalhamfest.org.uk\" target=\"_blank\">www.nationalhamfest.org.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Next Sunday sees the Belgium Amateur Radio and Computer Rally at the Louvexpo in La Louviere, 50km south of Brussels. Doors open from 9am to 4pm and talk in will be available on local repeaters.
