I learnt of his passing on the same night from his neighbour, barely two hours after speaking to him on the phone (and not long after he had help start up a packed 32nd Foundation course and enjoyed seeing his TX Factor effort).<\/p>\n<p>Clive started training in mid-2002 and had helped with 60+ exam sessions, aiding hundreds of candidates at all three levels.<\/p>\n<p>Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society has lost an outstanding Training Manager \/ Exam Secretary, whilst Essex Repeater Group likewise has lost a great Chairman.<\/p>\n<p>Both the CARS and ERG websites now have initial news and SK pages.<\/p>\n<p>Tribute by\u00a0Murray, G6JYB<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clive Ward, G1EUC suddenly became a silent key on Friday 4 September 2015.
