{"id":12588,"date":"2015-05-29T14:32:14","date_gmt":"2015-05-29T14:32:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/?p=12588"},"modified":"2015-05-29T14:33:18","modified_gmt":"2015-05-29T14:33:18","slug":"stations-wanted-israel-satellite-data-test","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/blog\/front-page-news\/2015\/05\/29\/stations-wanted-israel-satellite-data-test\/","title":{"rendered":"Stations wanted for satellite data test"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.h-space-lab.org\" target=\"_blank\">Herzliya Science Center<\/a> is inviting stations with the ability to send compressed APRS packets to take part in testing the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.h-space-lab.org\/php\/duchifat1-en.php\" target=\"_blank\">Duchifat-1 CubeSat<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The satellite will collect packets worldwide and downlink them from time to time over the ground station.<\/p>\n<p>Participants must register in advance to have their packets identified on the map at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.h-space-lab.org\/php\/map-en.php\" target=\"_blank\">www.h-space-lab.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Received packets will be displayed on a map on the Science Center\u2019s website, and QSL cards will be sent via the bureau.<\/p>\n<p>The uplink is 435.220MHz, the downlink is 145.980MHz.<\/p>\n<p>The satellite\u2019s beacon callsign is 4X4HSL.<\/p>\n<p>The APRS compressed digipeater uses AFSK 1200 baud on the UHF uplink and BPSK 1200 baud on the VHF downlink.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Herzliya Science Center is inviting stations with the ability to send compressed APRS packets to take part in testing the Duchifat-1 CubeSat.
