Lou died in hospital after a short illness.<\/p>\n<p>Lou was the Chairman of IARU Region 1 for 27 years until his retirement in 2002, and a member of the IARU Administrative Council.\u00a0 He will be sorely missed by his many colleagues and friends in IARU and around the world.<\/p>\n<p>On behalf of myself and the entire Executive Committee, I express our sincere condolences to his wife An and family.
