It\u2019s now time to gain your Foundation licence<\/a><\/strong>. You will need to pass the Foundation exam which helps to ensure that you can operate safely and without causing issues to other radio users.<\/h4>\n

Preparing for the Foundation exam<\/strong><\/h3>\n

You can contact your local radio club<\/strong> <\/a>to support you in preparing for your exam or you can study at home, following an online course<\/strong><\/a>, if you choose. There are plenty of materials to support your learning, such as RSGB books<\/strong><\/a>, videos<\/strong><\/a> and resources<\/strong><\/a>.<\/h4>\n

The exam<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Foundation exam is taken online and you will be informed of your result immediately.\u00a0When you\u2019re ready you can book and pay for your exam<\/strong><\/a> through the RSGB website, and take your exam online at a time\/date that suits you.<\/h4>\n
