Colin Thomas G3PSM is attending as part of the UK Delegation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>WRC-15 news items are <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/blog\/category\/news\/special-focus\/wrc-15\/\">here &gt;&gt;&gt;<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The right hand menu has additional information and papers <a href=\"wrc-15-papers\/\">&gt;&gt;&gt;<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Agenda Items of interest to Amateur\u00a0Radio\u00a0are:-<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>AI-1.1: \u00a0<\/strong>to consider additional spectrum allocations to the mobile service on a primary basis and identification of <strong>additional frequency bands for International Mobile Telecommunications (IMT)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>AI 1.4:<\/strong> <strong>\u00a0<\/strong>to consider<strong> a possible new allocation to the amateur service on a secondary basis within the band 5\u00a0250-5\u00a0450\u00a0kHz<\/strong> in accordance with Resolution COM6\/12 (WRC-12)<\/li>\n<li><strong>AI 1.6.1:<\/strong> \u00a0to consider possible additional primary allocations) to the fixed-satellite\u00a0service (Earth-space and space-Earth) of 250 MHz in the range between <strong>10\u00a0GHz<\/strong> and 17 GHz in Region 1<\/li>\n<li><strong>AI 1.10:<\/strong> \u00a0to consider \u00a0possible additional spectrum\u00a0allocations for the mobile-satellite service in the E-s and s-E directions,\u00a0including the satellite component for broadband \/ IMT applications, within the frequency range from <strong>22 GHz to 26 GHz<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>AI 1.12:\u00a0<\/strong> to consider an extension of the current worldwide allocation to the\u00a0Earth exploration-satellite service in the frequency band 9 300 &#8211; 9 900 MHz by up to\u00a0600 MHz with the frequency bands 8 700 &#8211; 9 300 MHz and\/or<strong> 9 900 &#8211; 10 500 MHz<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>AI 1.18:\u00a0<\/strong> to consider a primary allocation to the radiolocation service for\u00a0automotive applications in the <strong>77.5 &#8211; 78.0 GHz<\/strong> frequency band<\/li>\n<li><strong>AI 8:<\/strong> \u00a0to consider and take appropriate action on requests from administrations\u00a0to delete their <strong>country footnotes<\/strong> or to have their country name deleted from footnotes, if no\u00a0longer required<\/li>\n<li><strong>AI 9.1.4:\u00a0<\/strong> Updating and rearrangement of the Radio Regulations<\/li>\n<li><strong>AI 9.1.8:<\/strong> \u00a0Regulatory aspects for <strong>nanosatellites and picosatellites<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>AI 10:\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">possible <strong>agenda items for future conferences<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The \u00a0ITU World Radio Conference in 2015 (WRC-15) has a number of \u00a0Agenda Items (AIs) \u00a0that are\u00a0relevant\u00a0to the amateur and amateur satellite services.
