We can then update the membership record accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to send an obituary <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/publications-archives\/radcom\/silent-keys\/\">there&#8217;s more information here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note that Ofcom should also be informed<\/strong>\u00a0of the death \u2013 the licencing department is on 0207 981 3131 \u2013 regrettably the RSGB\u00a0<em>cannot<\/em>\u00a0do this for you.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"009\" name=\"009\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h2-inline\">How do I organise a Silent Key sale?<\/h2>\n<p>If you have equipment to sell or dispose of our regional team will be happy to advise you on the best methods for disposal and its value. The regional team are not allowed to buy the equipment from you so their opinion is unbiased. You will need to register for the portal before you can use this service. This can be done online but you will need to quote the callsign and the email address we have on your membership record to do this.<\/p>\n<p>2. Once you have registered you can logon by quoting your callsign (not email address) and the password you have set up.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"015\" name=\"015\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h2-inline\">I don\u2019t know what my membership number is.<\/h2>\n<p>You can e-mail <a href=\"mailto:sales@rsgb.org.uk\">sales@rsgb.org.uk<\/a>. It is also printed on the RadCom address label.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"016\" name=\"016\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h2-inline\">How can I place a members\u2019 advertisement?<\/h2>\n<p>Members\u2019 Ads are for RSGB members only and they can be e-mailed to <a href=\"mailto:memads@rsgb.org.uk\">memads@rsgb.org.uk<\/a> but there are some important points to note. The advert MUST<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Say if the item is For Sale or Wanted<\/li>\n<li>Include your name, callsign\/RS number, telephone number and postal town<\/li>\n<li>NOT be longer than 40 words<\/li>\n<li>NOT be for any sort of commercial or trade purpose<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Only one advertisement per member may be submitted each month. Members\u2019 Ads are accepted at the sole discretion of the Editor, whose decision is final.<\/p>\n<p>Full terms and conditions are regularly published in RadCom and are available on request.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"017\" name=\"017\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h2-inline\">How much does it cost to place a members\u2019 advertisement?<\/h2>\n<p>Members\u2019 advertisements are free but there is a \u00a35 administration charge if they are not supplied by email.
