{"id":5769,"date":"2013-01-14T16:49:28","date_gmt":"2013-01-14T16:49:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rsgbbeta.org\/?page_id=5769"},"modified":"2014-01-17T15:01:06","modified_gmt":"2014-01-17T15:01:06","slug":"centenary-award-claims-check-sheet","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/archive\/events-archive\/rsgb-centenary-2013\/rsgb-centenary-award-2013\/centenary-award-claims-check-sheet\/","title":{"rendered":"Centenary Award &#8211; Claims and Check Sheet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Award is open to all. \u00a0 RSGB members who provide proof of membership will receive a special member\u2019s certificate.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Claiming the Centenary Award<\/h2>\n<p>The claim for the award should be submitted via e-mail to hf.awards<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1278\" alt=\"space\" src=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/files\/2012\/08\/citruspunch.gif\" width=\"13\" height=\"13\" \/>rsgb.org.uk with;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Application Form (ideally as an xls file, or alternatively on paper) listing the claimed contacts<\/li>\n<li>The completed Check Sheet\u00a0(ideally as an xls file, or alternatively on paper)<\/li>\n<li>For other than SWL claims confirmation that the contacts were made by the licensee personally operating within the terms of station licence<\/li>\n<li>RSGB membership number or non-member statement<\/li>\n<li>Award fee of \u00a33.00 (or US$5 or \u20ac5), preferably via Paypal to johndunnington<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1278\" alt=\"space\" src=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/files\/2012\/08\/citruspunch.gif\" width=\"13\" height=\"13\" \/>johndunnington.karoo.co.uk. \u00a0For alternative payments please contact John Dunnington on the same e-mail address.<\/li>\n<li>Mailing address for the certificate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Certificates will be numbered sequentially, and a Special Commemorative Plaque will be awarded to the holders of a Full UK, Intermediate and Foundation Amateur licence, leading SWL and leading overseas station, who has the highest overall score, submitted by 23:59 UTC 31 January 2014.<\/p>\n<h2>Check Sheet and Application Form<\/h2>\n<p>The following Check Sheet is your working sheet to keep track of the bands on which the various scoring points have been logged. \u00a0It should be submitted along with the Award Application Form below.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rsgb-spectrumforum.org.uk\/docs\/CENTENARY_AWARD_CHECKLIST_v1.25.xls\">Centenary Award Check Sheet v1.25<\/a>\u00a0(102KB EXCEL spreadsheet)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the Application form there are two alternative downloads.<\/p>\n<p>The first one, with &#8220;print&#8221; in its title, is formatted for printing out onto A4 paper. \u00a0Data can be keyed into as an EXCEL application on a computer and submitted as an xls file attachment to an e-mail for submission, but if QSOs are missed new lines cannot be inserted so these will have to be entered out of date order. \u00a0As parts of the spreadsheet are &#8220;read only&#8221;, or in other words write protected, EXCEL will only allow the &#8220;copy&#8221; and &#8220;paste&#8221; to work on cells into which you can enter data. \u00a0These cells are un-coloured\/white.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rsgb-spectrumforum.org.uk\/docs\/RSGB_CENTENARY_APPLICATIONs_v1.52.xls\">Centenary Award Application print Form v1.52<\/a>\u00a0(183KB Excel spreadsheet) \u00a0Formatted for printing onto A4<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>An alternative spreadsheet is offered, with &#8220;computer&#8221; in the title, which is <strong>not<\/strong> intended for printing out. \u00a0This version is intended for submission as an xls file attachment to an e-mail. \u00a0 It allows rows to be inserted and deleted, data to be sorted, etc.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rsgb-spectrumforum.org.uk\/docs\/RSGB_CENTENARY_APPLICATION_computer_v2.2.xls\">Centenary Award Application computer Form v2.<\/a>2\u00a0(125KB EXCEL spreadsheet)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are needing to update an exiting form that you have partially completed, you can &#8220;copy&#8221; and &#8220;paste&#8221; the data from your existing form to the new versions above.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Award is open to all. \u00a0 RSGB members who provide proof of membership will receive a special member\u2019s certificate.
