The British Science Association chose \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.britishscienceweek.org\/theme-2026-curiosity-whats-your-question\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Curiosity: what\u2019s your question?<\/strong><\/a>\u2018\u00a0as the theme for 2026.<\/h4>\n<h4>Curiosity and inquisitiveness fit perfectly with amateur radio and the RSGB Outreach Team developed the following activity to help get people involved.<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.services\/public\/events\/BSW_activity_2026_curiosity.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Riding the wave<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>\u2013 follow this worksheet to give your friends\/family\/community an introduction to radio waves and amateur radio<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>The 2025 campaign was the biggest and best yet for amateur radio and saw a wide range of groups involved, from clubs and societies, to schools and uniformed groups. RSGB British Science Week Coordinator Prof. Ian Neal, G7IGN was instrumental in the success of the campaign. This was only possible thanks to the generous support of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/about-us\/committees\/legacy-committee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>RSGB Legacy Fund<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/commsfoundation.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Radio Communications Foundation (RCF)<\/strong><\/a>.<\/h4>\n<h4>A special RadCom Basics will be published with all of the reports sent in from this activity and will available for everyone to read.<\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>British Science Week 2026 took place between 6\u201315\u00a0March.
