Whilst the activity was originally designed for use with DMRs, it can be done with any radio or on any band \u2013 so get involved and try it with your family, friends and club colleagues!<\/h4>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>More change and adapt activities\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4>As well as the amateur radio activity that featured in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.britishscienceweek.org\/app\/uploads\/2025\/01\/British-Science-Week-2025-Community-activity-pack-Final.pdf?_gl=1*156ltz7*_up*MQ..*_ga*MTE1NTUwNDg0OC4xNzM4OTM1MDI4*_ga_DVXQMTJLCS*MTczODkzNTAyOC4xLjAuMTczODkzNTAyOC4wLjAuMA..\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>British Science Week Community pack<\/strong><\/a>, the RSGB Outreach team created two other activities that fitted in with the 2025 British Science Week theme of \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.britishscienceweek.org\/the-theme-for-2025-is-change-and-adapt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Change and adapt<\/strong><\/a>\u2019.<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.services\/public\/publications\/youth\/BSW_activity_observing_the_sun_and_understanding_aurora.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Observing the Sun and understanding aurora<\/strong><\/a>: Using a special solar telescope, learn about the Sun and its cycle of change<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.services\/public\/publications\/youth\/BSW_activity_observing_the_Moon.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Observing the Moon<\/strong><\/a>: During\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.britishscienceweek.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>British Science Week<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0monitor the Moon\u2019s phases.
