We have struck a berg. It\u2019s a CQD, old man&#8217;. Using clips from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>YouTube<\/strong><\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>BBC,<\/strong> <\/a>and examples of telegrams sent via radio to the Titanic, produce a presentation on the history of radio communications. Offer to present this to a group<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Teach a<a href=\"https:\/\/menssheds.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong> Men in Sheds<\/strong> <\/a>group how to solder properly and safely<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Identify broadcast stations &#8211; use a wideband receiver covering Medium wave (531 kHz to 1602 kHz) and find European broadcast stations. Try to identify where they are located, see how far away you can hear and find the transmit power.
