Candidate video interviews<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Each candidate was invited to have a video interview as part of the election and nomination process for Board Directors.<\/h4>\n

We wanted to give them the opportunity to share more about themselves as a person than is possible in the written candidate statements, and to explain their thoughts on the issues facing amateur radio and the RSGB.<\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The interviews were pre-recorded separately, and each candidate was asked the same set of questions. They were not told the specific questions in advance, other than the first one which asked about their amateur radio experience and interests.<\/p>\n

Video 1 – Nominated Directors<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This year, there are three Nominated Directors who are being put forward by the Nominations Committee for membership endorsement. Their answers are combined in a single video so you can see each candidate\u2019s thoughts on the same question. Click on the image below to watch the video<\/p>\n

Video 2 – unopposed Elected Director<\/strong><\/h4>\n

This year there is one Elected Director who has already been elected unopposed. Whilst as an RSGB member you don\u2019t need to vote on this candidate, we still asked them the same questions so you can get to know them better as they begin their role.
