{"id":31931,"date":"2023-04-17T11:07:00","date_gmt":"2023-04-17T10:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/?page_id=31931"},"modified":"2023-04-17T12:34:49","modified_gmt":"2023-04-17T11:34:49","slug":"agm-2023-proceedings","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/archive\/events-archive\/agm-2023\/agm-2023-proceedings\/","title":{"rendered":"AGM 2023 proceedings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The 96th Annual General Meeting of the Radio Society of Great Britain was held on 15 April 2023 and streamed live on our website and other online platforms.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 \u00a0Resolution 1:<\/strong> To receive and, if approved, confirm the <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.services\/public\/publications\/agm2022\/220423_agm_minutes_23_april_2022_v1.0.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Minutes of the 95th Annual General Meeting<\/strong><\/a> (3-page\/163KB PDF) held on 23 April 2022 and circulated to Members in the April 2023 <em>RadCom\u00a0<\/em>: <strong>Motion carried 635\/2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 \u00a0<\/strong>To receive and consider the accounts for the period 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022 and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.services\/public\/publications\/accounts\/2022\/rsgb_report_and_financial_statement_2022.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reports of the Board and the Auditor<\/a><\/strong> which were available online from 15 March 2023 : <strong>Duly received<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 \u00a0Resolution 2:<\/strong> To appoint Peters Elworthy &amp; Moore as auditors and to authorise the Board to fix their remuneration : <strong>Motion carried 632\/9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 \u00a0Resolution 3:<\/strong> To elect two Directors of the RSGB to serve on the Board. The candidates were Ben Lloyd, GW4BML; Paul Nicholls, M0PVN and Leonard John Paget, GM0ONX.
