{"id":27064,"date":"2021-04-24T18:09:27","date_gmt":"2021-04-24T17:09:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/?page_id=27064"},"modified":"2024-03-19T11:29:44","modified_gmt":"2024-03-19T11:29:44","slug":"agm-2021-proceedings","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/archive\/events-archive\/agm-2021\/agm-2021-proceedings\/","title":{"rendered":"AGM 2021 proceedings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The 94th Annual General Meeting of the Radio Society of Great Britain was held on 24 April 2021 and streamed live on our website and other online platforms.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 \u00a0Resolution 1:<\/strong> To receive and, if approved, confirm the <a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.services\/public\/publications\/agm2020\/200804_minutes_of_the_93rd_annual_general_meeting_of_the_radio_society_of_great_britain.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Minutes of the 93rd Annual General Meeting<\/strong><\/a> (4-page\/80.9KB PDF) held on 25 April 2020 and circulated to Members in the April 2021 <em>RadCom\u00a0<\/em>: <strong>Motion carried 552\/0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 \u00a0<\/strong>To receive and consider the accounts for the period 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020 and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rsgb.services\/public\/publications\/agm2021\/rsgb_2020_final_accounts.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reports of the Board and the Auditor<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0which were available online from 1 April 2021 : <strong>Duly received<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 \u00a0Resolution 2:<\/strong> To appoint Peters, Elworthy and Moore as auditors and to authorise the Board to fix their remuneration : <strong>Motion carried 570\/7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 \u00a0Resolution 3:<\/strong> To endorse two Nominated Directors &#8211; the candidates were Paul Devlin, G1SMP and David Hills, G6PYF &#8211; as Directors of the RSGB to serve on the Board : <strong>Duly endorsed\u00a0<\/strong>(see results and votes below)<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 \u00a0Resolution 4:<\/strong> To elect a President &#8211; the candidates were Dr Stewart Bryant, G3YSX and Simone Wilson, M0BOX &#8211; as the President of the RSGB and as a Director of the RSGB to serve on the Board : <strong>Duly elected<\/strong>\u00a0(see results and votes below)<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 \u00a0Resolution 5:<\/strong> To elect a Director &#8211;
