AGM VOTING NOW CLOSED

\nIt’s much appreciated<\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Voting is being conducted by Civica Election Services (CES) on behalf of the Society\u2014you can vote electronically, or by post prior to the AGM.<\/h4>\n

Electronic voting<\/h3>\n

Go to the cast your vote<\/strong><\/a> page.<\/p>\n

You will be asked for your Membership number without the leading zeros as part 1 of your security code and the first four digits of your call sign as part two of your security code (e.g. G4LFM enters G4LF or GM4LFM enters GM4L).<\/p>\n

Each Member can only vote once.<\/p>\n

CES voting is available 24 hours a day, commencing 23 March 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Voting closes at 09.00 on 21 April 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Postal voting<\/h3>\n

You can vote by post by requesting a proxy form and envelope from RSGB HQ.<\/p>\n

You can do this by writing to the General Manager by email to gm.dept@rsgb.org.uk<\/strong>, or by telephone on 01234 832 702<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The proxy form and return envelope will be sent to you.<\/p>\n

The details required on the proxy form are your name, address, call sign or RS number, and your Membership number.<\/p>\n

This can be found on your RadCom<\/em> mailing wrapper, by logging into the Membership Services at rsgb.org\/members<\/strong><\/a>, or by enquiry from RSGB HQ.<\/p>\n

This is a security measure required by CES.<\/p>\n

Once you have voted, place the completed proxy form in the pre-paid envelope and post it to CES to arrive on or before 9am on 21 April 2022.<\/p>\n

Postal voting is expensive so please use the internet option if possible<\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n

How to cast your vote<\/h3>\n

If you do not enter the name of the proxy holder, your vote will be cast by the Chair of the meeting or failing them, the Company Secretary, in accordance with your wishes indicated on the voting form (whether electronic or paper).<\/p>\n

On the voting screen\/proxy form you wille find three boxes alongside each Resolution.<\/p>\n

Against each Resolution you should mark an X<\/em> indicating your choice.<\/p>\n

If you leave the instruction on how to vote blank, the proxy holder may vote as he\/she wishes.<\/p>\n

Although provision for a withheld vote (Abstain) does not appear in the Society\u2019s Articles, it is now common.<\/p>\n

So, if you are assigning your proxy and do not vote \u201cfor\u201d or \u201cagainst\u201d, you can elect to abstain, which is also binding on your proxy holder.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
