\nIt is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that they are available at the time of the booked remote invigilation examination.\u00a0 In order to be available for an examination it is also the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that the all aspects of their computer related functions are working correctly prior to the examination.\u00a0 Failure to be available for a remote invigilation examination how so ever caused will result in the loss of the appointment and the fee paid.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>It is the responsibility of the candidate to provide a computer, desktop or laptop (no tablets, including early Surface Pro\u2019s), with the following minimum specification:<\/div>\n\n

\n<\/strong>It is a requirement of all Amateur Radio Examinations that candidates provide photographic ID. In the case of remote invigilation exams this will need to be shown to the camera on your computer.\u00a0 It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that this proof is available at this time of the examination. If it is not available the exam may not proceed and will result in the loss of the appointment and the fee paid.<\/p>\n
\nOther than when special arrangements have been made with the RSGB Examinations department it is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure no other person is present during remote invigilation exams. Invigilators will ask for the venue to be scanned\u00a0 using the camera. Should there be other people present they must be asked to leave – if they do not the exam cannot proceed and will result in the loss of the appointment and the fee paid.<\/p>\n
\nRSGB Examinations are offered with the expectation that invigilators will be available at the booked time and date.\u00a0 Should this not be able to take place because of unavailability, technical issues or any other issues that are the RSGB’s responsibility it will do its best to re-book this to a mutually convenient time and date.\u00a0 Should this not be possible the RSGB will issue a full refund for the booking.\u00a0 The RSGB accepts no responsibility for any consequential loss and the limit of any liability is the cost of the examination.<\/p>\n
\nOnce a booking for remote invigilation examination has been made and paid for it is considered final.\u00a0 It is up to the candidate to check carefully that the chosen date and details are correct.\u00a0 You will not be able to change your appointment unless there are exceptional circumstances.\u00a0 Any changes or cancellations that are agreed by the RSGB Examination Department may be subject to an \u00a310.00 administration charge.\u00a0 If you are within 10 days of your appointment date unfortunately we are unable to refund any monies.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong><\/b>Any candidate who may have special requirements connected to their examination should contact the RSGB Exams Department by email exams@rsgb.org.uk<\/a> prior to making a booking to discuss their individual situation.\u00a0 Any booking made prior to any discussion with the Examinations Department may be cancelled by the RSGB as it sees fit.\u00a0 Any such cancellations may also be subject to an \u00a310.00 administration charge.<\/p>\n

\nWe are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.<\/p>\n
\nThe Radio Society of Great Britain does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when booking details are processed as part of the order fulfillment or allied services. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.\u00a0 All data is held in accordance with the RSGB Privacy policy. \nRSGB online examinations are recorded for review later if for instance any transgressions are suspected. Once the appeal period for examinations has expired these are deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.<\/p>\n
\nThis site in common with others covered by English law operates a policy of Errors and Omissions Excepted (E&OE). Whilst the RSGB takes all reasonable care in the production of this Terms and Conditions page we can accept no responsibility of any inaccuracies or omissions contained within it.\u00a0 Where errors become apparent the RSGB reserves the right to decline examination bookings, withdraw items from sale, amend descriptions and\/or take any other steps it deems necessary.\u00a0 Any changes made are entirely at the RSGB’s discretion and can be made without prior notice.<\/p>\n
