They range from multi-station, multi-op, visits to rare DXCC entities and IOTA islands, to \u201choliday style\u201d activity where someone fits in a few hours operating around other holiday activities. There are several sources of information on these DXpeditions (and on the activities of resident amateurs) but the two most popular free ones are:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/dx-world.net\/\">DX World<\/a> which provides a website and a weekly bulletin<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.425dxn.org\/\">425 DX News<\/a> which provides a weekly email bulletin and a website.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-21110 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/files\/2018\/11\/DXped-001-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/files\/2018\/11\/DXped-001-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/files\/2018\/11\/DXped-001-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/files\/2018\/11\/DXped-001-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/rsgb.org\/main\/files\/2018\/11\/DXped-001-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The two main DX Awards programmes in the world are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arrl.org\/dxcc\">DXCC run by the American Radio Relay League<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iota-world.org\/\">Islands on the Air (IOTA)<\/a> now run by an independent management team but formerly by the RSGB.
