100vw, 150px\" \/>We are proud to have hosted YOTA 2017 the prestigious IARU international summer camp at Gilwell Park, the UK Scouting HQ, from 5-12 August 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There were\u00a080 young people under the age of 26 from\u00a027 countries\u2014from all over <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iaru-r1.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IARU Region 1<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0as well as Japan\u2014representing their national amateur radio societies at the event.<\/p>\n<p>By taking part in a mix of amateur radio and intercultural activities, the young people were able to build relationships with like-minded people from other countries and develop international friendships through amateur radio\u2014and they had a lot of fun!<\/p>\n<p>Use the links
