""To provide a balance between the benefits of meeting in person and access to high-quality online content for those who couldn’t be there, we offered a livestream some of the presentations this year. We recorded some of the other presentations to release during the months after the event.

The programme included five streams, so there was something for everyone. AMSAT-UK joined us again this year and hosted one of the streams.

Keynote speaker

Our keynote speaker this year was Tim Ellam, VE6SH/G4HUA, President of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU).

The IARU has been the worldwide voice of radio amateurs, securing and safeguarding the amateur radio spectrum since 1925. Protecting spectrum access by qualified operators on a non-commercial basis is the IARU’s principal mission, and with various part of the spectrum under threat around the world, their role has never been more important.

Save the date!

The 2023 RSGB Convention will take place between 13 and 15 October at Kents Hill Park.
