National Club of the Year 2018

Waters and Stanton

Once again, we are indebted to Waters & Stanton for their generous
sponsorship of this competition.

RSGB Trophies

We are pleased to announce that this year’s competition will have just one category for entrants, and as well as being open to clubs of all sizes, we welcome entries from all RSGB affiliated groups.

In previous years, the Club of the Year competition has been run with two categories, one for small clubs and one for large, with the dividing line being 25 members. This was introduced to try and encourage smaller clubs to enter the competition. However, given the low number of entries from small clubs, the Regional Forum has taken a fresh look at the competition structure.

The theme for this year’s RSGB Club of the Year will be ‘Meeting RSGB Strategy 2022’. We are asking entrants to choose three of the RSGB’s strategic priorities and to demonstrate how their group activities over the last 12 months have supported their chosen priorities.

We hope that by broadening the focus it will encourage all affiliated groups, as well as clubs, to submit an entry.

The Strategy 2022 priorities can be found here.
