RSGB Board Director change

It is with regret that I announce that Peter Bowyer, G4MJS is stepping down from his role as an RSGB Director.

The time demands of Peter’s professional duties have unexpectedly and significantly increased such that this is now unfortunately necessary.

It has been a pleasure to work with Peter and I appreciate and thank him for his advice and assistance as my Vice Chair.

Peter has indicated that he is available to help the RSGB with other less time-demanding and time-critical roles, so we will not lose his contribution to the Society entirely.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind RSGB members that the election cycle starts in a few short months. Len Paget, GM0ONX and myself both stand down from the Board due to term limits and, as a consequence, the RSGB will be looking for three new Directors. I encourage members to offer their services to the RSGB for this important duty.
