Change to Board appointment process
The RSGB Board has decided to make changes to the way in which nominated Board Directors are appointed.
The RSGB Board is made up of eight Directors—one is the elected President and four are directly nominated and elected by Membership ballot.
A further three Directors are nominated by the RSGB Nominations Committee for endorsement by the Membership at the AGM.
The role of the committee is to identify areas where the knowledge and skills of the Board members may need further support and to find suitable candidates; primarily they are looking for business skills and not those directly associated with amateur radio.
