GB4FCV will be on the air on the 20, 30, 40 and 80m bands using CW only until 13 December. It is to commemorate Sir Francis Chichester’s circumnavigation of the globe in 1967. Special callsign 3A60ARM will be in use throughout December to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Monaco Society.

Phoenix Radio Group and Mansfield and District ARS are putting GB2OIL on the air today, 24 November, to commemorate the opening of the first commercial deep well oilfield in the UK at Dukes Wood, Eakring in Nottinghamshire in 1943.
