Transatlantic Centenary Marathon

The RSGB and ARRL are organising an International Amateur Radio Marathon on the HF bands to commemorate the centenary of the achievement of Amateur Transatlantic communication, during the Transatlantic Tests that were held between 1921 and 1923.

Objectives

  • To celebrate the centenary of the achievement of Amateur Transatlantic communication.
  • To run a joint ARRL and RSGB event – the two organisations who organised the 1920s tests.
  • Lots of US and UK participation, with many ARRL and RSGB members and other US and UK amateurs joining in.
  • Plenty of International participation.

Currently we are planning to run the marathon during December 2022.

Full details will be published both here and on the ARRL website.
