Demonstrating amateur radio is a very different skill to practising it, and there is nothing more off-putting to a visitor to a special event station than to be greeted by the back of an operator’s head—with or without headphones!
Despite the idiosyncrasies of many parts of our hobby, different facets are easily explained and shown to the uninitiated and this section is intended to provide how-to-do-it-well guides.
The first one is Morse Code.
The Microsoft Word template used to produce this document is also included for clubs to use to develop and hopefully share their own guides. If you have some great demonstration ideas and approaches that you would be willing to share, please document them and send to firstname.lastname@example.org
