Amateur Radio Observation Service

| December 1, 2017

The Amateur Radio Observation Service (AROS) is the RSGB’s confidential advisory and reporting service. It is intended to assist radio amateurs and others who may be affected by problems which occur within the amateur bands or which develop on other frequencies as a result of amateur transmissions.

The AROS Coordinator runs a team of volunteer observers and liaises with Ofcom’s enforcement team. They also oversee Intruder Watch, the RSGB’s Monitoring System.

Application to join the team of AROS volunteers are always welcome.
